Our ground level, well-equipped, and welcoming facility is available for occupational therapists and other professionals to rent on a per diem basis, in order to conduct Functional Capacity Evaluations and other assessments, as well as for small group or individualized treatment.
Facility Features
WRC is located off Roper Road in Southeast Edmonton, with convenient access from 75th Street, 50th Street, and the Whitemud Freeway. The facility is 1600 square feet and contains a welcoming reception and waiting area, a designated rental office/interview room, a physical assessment room, the FCE room, and a multipurpose room that can be used for small meetings, small group exercise or yoga, and a variety of other purposes. There is also a washroom and a small kitchen with sink, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, tea kettle, blender, and dishwasher; all available for your use. Coffee, tea, and bottled water are stocked.
Should you wish to include outdoor testing in your evaluation, there is access to a walking path of approximately 1 km, including gravel and paved pathways, and some mild inclines.
Equipment and Resources
Our clinic is fully equipped with up to date evaluation tools (including multiple cognitive assessments), equipment, and questionnaires to evaluate your client’s functional capacity. We also have a resource library available for your use onsite.

For your safety and that of your clients, the clinic has a personal/portable panic button, as well as a First Aid Kit and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) with barrier mask.

Proof of Commercial Liability Insurance, with Whitelaw Rehabilitation Consulting Inc. listed as an “additional insured” will be required for rental of the facility.
Unless otherwise agreed upon, you will have access to the entire facility, except for the private office. We understand that if you are conducting individual assessment or treatment for non-medical legal purposes, you may not require full access to the facility and equipment; please contact us at (780) 758 9565 directly for pricing in this case.
