WRC’s Functional Evaluations are comprehensive, objective, and defensible, assessing an individual’s functional status for self-care, work, and daily activities. Evaluations may be conducted in various settings and use medical records, interviews, and standardized testing. Therapists consider all relevant factors, including future care needs, functional cognition, and psychosocial aspects.
Vocational evaluations provide an in-depth assessment of work-related abilities. These evaluations include reviewing medical and employment history, analyzing job demands, assessing physical, cognitive, and emotional factors, and identifying workplace barriers. Our OTs may also recommend accommodations and conduct worksite assessments if applicable.
Our occupational therapists have specialized training in functional capacity evaluations (physical and cognitive) and workplace safety assessment and treatment. Additional experience includes extensive mental health experience and training, work with veterans and first responders, and cognitive rehabilitation.
We provide occupational therapy and support in the physical, cognitive, and psychosocial areas. Some of the issues we address are safety and mobility, pain, fatigue, depression, anxiety, cognitive challenges, community access, and return to work.
WRC occupational therapists assess and quantify lost services after a loved one’s death, ensuring fair compensation for surviving family members. They evaluate the deceased’s role, assign financial value to lost services, consider special factors, and provide a comprehensive report on service replacement costs.
